Despite the city’s best efforts to make food trucks disappear, the mobile eatery trend has only become more popular over the past year, with whole festivals dedicated to truck fare these days. One of the largest of these events goes down on August 20, when the fifth iteration of Parked! Food Truck Festival rolls into South Street Seaport. The free event, which started with five trucks, takes place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature 30 options all in one spot—no need to consult twitter or iPhone apps for locations.
