We see London. We see France. We see a bunch of leggy bombshells in their underpants. That’s just a taste of what you’ll see at Duane Park’s saucy cabaret performances, featuring everything from magic shows to burlesque performances where hedonism is encouraged and clothing is optional.
The Place
The interior of Duane Park is like a tube of red lipstick: rich and glamorous with a certain va-va-voomness to it. Wait, no. It’s like a pair of fishnet stockings: suggestive, provocative, and classy all at the same time. Hmm, still not right. It’s like a stiff drink: comforting but with an edge that makes you feel uninhibited. Really there’s no way to describe the Tribeca supper club that does it justice. The walls are covered in elaborate baroque etchings; Grecian columns frame the stage, which showcases cabaret performances; and crystal chandeliers salvaged from a Louisiana plantation dangle from the ceiling. The food’s just as sophisticated: Entrees range from spicy Creole seafood bouillabaisse to pan-roasted organic chicken. And drinks like the Duane Park Manhattan and the Lady Mellow? There’s no words.
