Tickets for the 2011 New York Wine & Food Festival, which takes place from September 29 to October 2 and is sometimes referred to as the Fashion Week of the food world, went on sale this morning. Mainstay favorites like Burger Bash and The Art of the Taco (called Tacos and Tequila last year) have already sold out along with special events like a sushi rolling class with Food Network personality Morimoto and dinner with Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio. But that means there are still tickets available for Carts in the Parc (Andrew Zimmern’s food cart event), a slew of special dinners (hosted by the likes of Jacques Pépin and Marea‘s Michael White), and the “Times Talks” interview series.
