From the same chef who oversaw the kitchen at 5 Ninth in the meatpacking district, Zak Pelaccio can now be found behind the scenes at his latest restaurant Fatty 'Cue situated in Williamsburg's South Side.
Pelaccio has partnered with former Hill Country pitmaster Robbie Richter. The restaurant's barbecued meats are fused with Southeast Asian hints including herbs like dried chiles, young ginger and Vietnamese mint. Their meats are all smoked to perfection using antique hickory smokers.
A few menu items worth mentioning: Smoked fatback burger, smoked beef brisket with coconut milk and black pepper cure and their red curry cured bacon.
